I captured this image of Cranberry Pond with Mount Toby in the background. The morning light filtered through a break in the clouds, casting a soft glow over the snow-covered trees and the frozen pond below. A layer of mist drifted across the mountain, adding to the quiet, isolated feeling of the scene. The pond was partially iced over, with a patch of open water reflecting the trees along the shore. The cold air was still, amplifying the silence and making the landscape feel frozen in time.
