The image below is a time blend of all the meteors I captured over 4 hours photographing the Geminids at Mount Pollux in Amherst, MA. The first hour of my night, a small group of college students were in sleeping bags watching the stars, providing me with many excited oohs when a good sized meteor hit the atmosphere. After they left, it was just me and the quiet of the night until dawn when the early risers showed up to walk their dogs.
