I have long wanted to visit this heart-shaped island in Maine. I finally managed to take the long overnight drive. When I arrived, everything was shrouded in fog, and disappointment began to set in. But I was too far away to give up that easily. As the morning progressed, the sun emerged, burning away the fog to create spectacular conditions.
