This image captures the eclipse as seen from Westmore, VT, after an adventure-filled journey. A group of photographers set off early, racing around to find clear skies. The forecast was unpredictable, and we covered miles, watching the clouds shift and thin. Finally, in Westmore, we found the perfect spot, cloudless and ready for the show. This composite combines two exposures to highlight the moon illuminated by Earth's reflected light while the sun’s corona forms a radiant halo. The shared excitement and relief of capturing this rare moment made the experience unforgettable, worth every mile.
