The temperatures were frigid at 2am in early March, dipping down to -12 F. I had planned to hike for a view of the Milky Way above Mount Washington but decided to be safe and stay close to my car. I took a time lapse and that you can watch here. This image is a blend of two shots, one from when the Milky Way Core was high in the sky and an earlier image from when someone drove by and left a light trail on the road.
