This sunset shot captures the North Trailhead at Mount Tom, with early autumn colors beginning to show across the hillside. The warm evening light spreads across the landscape, enhancing the golden tones of the grasses and trees. Dramatic clouds add texture to the sky, contrasting with the soft glow of the setting sun. Further down the winding path, my wife and son walk together, enjoying the evening. This trail, managed by Kestrel Land Trust, is a perfect place to pause and take in the view as the day nears its end.
