The conditions were incredible during this sunrise at Mount Pollux in Amherst, MA. High clouds provided interest in the sky, while a low bank of clouds on the horizon and the fog below simplified the scene by blanketing the houses and farmland in between the trees and the horizon. My favorite tree on top of the hill provided the perfect subject to bring all the layers together.
