The perseids were spectacular this year. Despite the constant rain and clouds this summer in New England, we had a few clear nights near the meteor shower's peak. A few incredible fireballs flashed through my frame during the night at Wickett Pond in Wendell, MA. This image is a composite of six images taken at the lake that night: one of the Milky Way (with a meteor), one of me standing in the water, and four more meteor strikes.
