Quabbin Reservoir Sunrise
Quabbin Reservoir Sunrise
An early morning hike to the Quabbin Reservoir in New Salem, MA, paid off with a beautiful sunrise. The sky lit up in vivid pinks and oranges, reflecting a warm glow over the still water. The reservoir had only recently thawed from winter, with patches of ice still visible near the shore. You can barely make out the new buds on the branches framing the scene—a quiet reminder that spring is just beginning to take hold.
Photographed on the traditional lands of the Nipmuc People.
